Best Wishes to Howard @ Motocycle Metal

Okay I talked with Howard tonight, he is broken up pretty good on his rib cage , broken shoulder, and his fingers. He is up and around, not able to type too well and a little grumpier than his normal cheerful self hehehe, but he is up and around.
Here is the story, he was down there with the Buell team, they finished kicking butt at the track all day, the track was getting ready to wrap up, Howard got a wild hair up his *** and jumped on one of the race bikes determined to set a new track record. Well, on his fourth lap after the tires were heated up he was a few tenths off, with a steely determined look, on his last lap he went for broke, I could tell, as he went by pit lane on one wheel,,,, it was unbelievable,,, old man reliving his youth, then the 160 mph turn came up and he was doing 180 mph,,,,, he got the front wheel down just in time,,,,,,, then a frikken squirrel ran out and committed suicide right under his bike,,, in the process the new slippery compound on the tires was just too much as the bike was at its limit,,, I dare say it was just past its limit,,,, Howard with all his skill, might, and determination just could not control the monstrous power of the bike,,,, it squirmed under the stress,,, then the laws of physics took control,,,, at this point only God could intervene.
Now you know what happened.
Come down to Fla and I'll tell you what really happened, I seen the aftermath. All I have to say is I am glad Howard is in as good of shape today as he is, it could have easily been a lot worse.
