Now that the details are out, this is what I was referring to in my thread about Howard's customer service - to call me on a Sunday evening, facing surgery and he's worried about me!

No matter how many times I said "Howard, I've got snow on the ground, the bike's not going anywhere soon", he kept insisting he would expedite the rebuilds.

Relax, Howard - take the break you deserve, and heal quickly!

thanks all, great bunch of bikers. this site has it all including how to get out of bed with broken ribs. yes, this is not a joke.

i have 3 left side fractured ribs and a right side broken shoulder socket along with a 3 piece fractured femur bone. that is why there is no capitals in this post. i am trying not to do the dope/pain pills unless the pain is too much to bare. all of the time, it seems, even my hair hurts.

getting out of bed is the hardest part.

want to thank masterblaster who dropped what he was doing to come to the er in homestead, fl than 2 days later bring me to the er in miami two times in one week

your words give me a positive outlook for thee future. thanks all!!!

I just ordered another pair of Ohlins from Howard last week, and found out that he had thrashed himself pretty bad. The guy still called me up a couple of nights ago (obviously in pain) to tell me he would get me the shocks as soon as he could.

Jesus Howard…relax, heal up, and recover! Your business and your customers aren't going anywhere.

It's going to take a while Howard. Take it easy, It will be there when you get well enough to mess with it. Love my Ohlins #6's.

Default Yo bro

Please don't do what i did.Don't try and rush the healing process! I'm guessing you're over 30 . I had injuries similar to you and i didn;t take the docs advice and went back to work and life too quickly. I've been in pain ever since and could never really get back to 100%. The pain was very minor for years;but as i hit 50 it gets worse every year. Take it slow and easy.....................
