Default LED tail lights

I've never been one to like the clear look but with this Pewter pearl it sure looks like a clear/smoked tail light would look right.

I see several and the prices vary so much.

Which one is the best bang or the buck clear/smoked laydown LED tail light out there right now?

+1 on the BAL. Maybe you can score a deal by going right to the source, it's worth a shot anyway.

+2 on the BAL. Bet that they protect their retailers pricing.

No such thing as a deal on a BAL at a dealer....used is the only trick but they are still $200.

I agree with the LED lights costing too much.
What I did was to buy a clear tail light lens from J&P and just put a red LED bulb in the socket.
It cost a lot less. Only around $30 and looks Great.
I ordered the lens at Laughlin River Run. J&P has a tent and offered 10% discount with free shipping.

Here is a lay down lens for '03/later.
Here is for the earlier models.

I have no regrets on the Bright Assed light purchase, I'd rather spend my money on that than a shiny bit of chrome that as no other function.

My flush mount LEDs in my custom fender were well over the price of BALs, but are worth every penny. SO MUCH more light than stock. For the money BAL taillights are a great addition. Safety is worth it to me.
