Default Anybody importing maps to a non-Zumo GPS?

I have a Garmin 7-series, and I import maps from HD Ride Planner. Need to replace my GPS, and can't figure out which models will import maps. Don't use it often enough to spend the $$ for a Zumo. Planning a long ride, and need a GPS.

I have a Garmin 755T and download my routes from MapQuest. Just look for one that will take routes. When I bought mine there were only 1-2 that would take a route.

I have a Nuvi 750, it'll let you import .gpx files.

You do not need to import anything. Just download the map to your computer then connect the gps to your computer and open it the same as you would any other drive and copy the map into the folder. You can do that on any GPS.

I had a Street Pilot and imported maps. Now have a Nuvi 550 and a Zumo 550 and import maps to both of them from Map Sorce.

Then you're the perfect person to ask... is the Zumo 550 worth twice as much as the Nuvi 550? I understand they're both waterproof. Nuvi loads 10 routes/the Zumo 50, Zumo has an MP3 player. Seems a lot of extra cash for little gain.
