Harley's Eagle Fairing Decal ??
Okay, don't laugh, but I was thinking of getting this Fairing Decal for my Vivid Black Ultra.

If I had the money, I would just go with a custom paint job, but that's not in the cards right now.
Anyone got one of these? How is the quality, and do you like the way it looks?
Thanks

Go for it! When I bought this bike I promised my wife I wouldn't put stickers on it, but that one is classy looking and I would if I could!!!
BTW - it's WAY better looking than a "bra."
I would like the moco. Eagle on my batwing as it would cover a pretty nasty chip I got coming out of the northern Cascades this summer (riding 30+ miles of fresh chip seal at the end of July...)
If you get it, please post a pic and describe your thoughts as I might be able to "persuade" my wife to change her mind based on your pic!!!
Thanks,
Ken

Ive seen in on one of the bikes out here in the local area... its all a matter of color that the decal is going on. I'm saving my $$$$ for paint after the move in a year, if your just getting some custom work on the fairing its not as coin as you think. It's just a matter of finding a good paint shop.

Check out places like Decal Max and others online. I was going to do the same eagle (can't afford paint) and I have this "thing" for bulls with wings (long story). Anyway, for about $50.00, and mixing/matching/cutting a couple decals together, I'm doing this on my fairing, in silver to match the pin striping. I figure, when I get the scratch together, I'll have someone paint it for me.

They were sold in two colors, and two types. The Black and Gold, you see now. And White and Gold (or was it White and Red?).
Harley the Full Eagle with wings spread, standing on the "Made in USA" shield. They also offered a "Made in USA" shield with just wings for the back.
I had the White and Gold full eagle on the Fairing of my 1985 Candy Apple Red Electra Glide. The other one was on the Tour Pak.
Not too many were sold so I stood out. I think it look great.
Harley does not offer the other color or the rear decals any more. But they look great on dark fairings.
Just be sure to take your time putting it on. Get all of the bubbles and it will look glorious!
