So did it work?

I have no idea yet...its has been below 30 degrees here most of the time. I will try to take it for a ride up to the dealer today for the ECM update. If I get real brave I will take it out on the expressway without my face mask and let you know It is soppused to be around 37 this afternoon when I get off work.
It was 39 degrees when I got off work.......but I had forgot about the salt on the road. When I was walking out to my truck after work, I noticed the salt in the parking lot. So, I did not get a chance to ride the bike today to try it out. If the salt is gone by Saturday, when it warms up again, I will try to test it out, and post the results.

I originally put on of those cool looking 4" (not Clearview) on my bike and took it off after about 100 miles. I think it will be reserved for the slow rides during Bike Week on the Island. I really love my Clearview 8". It provides the correct height as far as visibility over the shield and just the right amount of breeze without buffetting. Overall I reccommend the 8" for normal highway and such. BTW it is 102 miles round trip to work and back so I have tried it out, over 500 miles including in temps of high 40s, low 50s.

I bought my bike used and it came with the little HD deflector. I rode it about 2 days and put on the HD 9" windshield. Now that it's cold I have the tall 15" on for the winter. The standard height knocks my helmet around too much. This is my first bike with a windshield and I'll never go back!
