Built the best engine cooling system...again
#1421
Checked the mail last night as I was leaving for work and there was my box. Ordered it on Friday and got it on Monday! So I threw it in the truck and took it to work with me. Got a few Harley riders at work, gave out 3 of your cards. Getting ready to put it on now but I have one question. Just exactly where and how do you mount the thermal switch?

Boss - Jason has install instructions on his web site:
http://www.wardspartswerks.com/fcs-install.html
You can also PM me if you have any questions. It is a simple "friction fit" between the cooling fins on the front cylinder. Location should be adjacent to the the existing Temp Sensor for the ECU (you can see it on the back of the front cycleder (left side behind the horn). Do not remove the mylar sleeve .
There are pics in the Thread (which is very , very long at this point).
I can send you pictures and draft install procedure if you PM an e-mail address.

Got my fans back in November for a winter project. Work and a lack of riding delayed my install. Finally had a day off with rain but the 85* temp/73* dew point spurred my *** to finally install the fans!! Very simple to do and they look and sound great. Now to just get some riding time in

Just took the 107 for a ride. It was 85* and I rode around town.Stop and go traffic punctuated with heavy acceleration. It was a trip that would have had the head temp at 290 and the oil temp at 260. When I got home the head was 248 and the oil was 230. The highest head temp I saw was 258. When I get more time I'll give her good work out.
