Default 0903 Download.

Hello,
Just had the 0903 download done to my bone stock '07 RK Classic.
The work order says that the dealer performed service M-1186.
The part # used is listed as 32903-07D/DT.
Does anyone know if this was the correct download ?
Friends are telling me that this is not the right download for a STOCK bike.
I'm looking for some info before I head back to the dealer.

Thanks in advance,

Jake

Looks correct to me. I've got a copy of the service bulletin. For an OEM Domestic Touring bike, the old calibration was 2903-07C/DT and the new one is 32903-07D/DT.

This is for a stock touring bike only. CVOs and street legal Stage 1s have different calibrations and the updates to the Digital Technician software used for the upgrade will not be out until mid to late December (I have to wait to do mine).

According to the Service Bulletin, the dealers will not be reimbursed by the MOCO unless they use the updated software for their Digital Technician (DT):

*** Use DT software version 20.xx or greater. Version 20.xx, targeted for release mid to late December 2006, will provide
“no charge” P&A performance calibration upgrades for qualifying vehicles. (The “xx” in the version number means that
these digits have not yet been assigned.) Upgrades performed prior to the 20.xx release will be charged to your dealership.

This is for non-stock bikes only. I would get with your particular dealer to find out when they get the upgraded DT software. Some dealers may take a little prodding.
