Default Ultra security system

I have a 2012 EG Ultra Classic, That doesn't have the factory security. I want to add the system to it. The parts books shows the part number as 68200-07A But I have located one that has the same number but without the A suffix. My question is can I use the one without the A or should I buy the one with the A suffix. Thanks

Default

a,b,c etc. are sometimes revisions to the actual part, sometimes denote change in supplier or even cover of a plastic casing.

I'd look for the most recent, revisions are almost always an improvement ( and often superceded parts show up on ebay)

If you add security, check the tip and tricks for the $6 radio shack siren many of us use
