The office is 12 miles from the house...but most of the time it ends up being 25-30 miles each way.

Usually get in an 100 mile ride during the week...either work appointments or just exploring a back road.

Another 100 - 400 riding on the weekend.

7-8 long weekend trips a year and 2-3 longer trips a year. Last longer trip was down to Sarasota and back via the coastal route. Some where around 2500 miles.

Between the bikes it is 35k-45k miles a year.

Oh...kids are grown and gone!

It varies for me depending on several factors, i.e., what I feel like, how much time I can find, finances, etc., but i've done over 20,000 miles in the last year. 9,103 of those in 28 days this past August through 20 states.

I try to take a ride every day. Keeps me at one with the universe...If the roads are dry, I'm riding...won't chance sliding off a wet road. If it's cold, I'll bundle up as much as necessary...
Last trip was 950 miles in three days, and had an absolute blast.

Mostly local in the neighborhood;hang out alot at the dealership. My favorite ride are up to Bayport & Weeki Wachee (about 25 miles) or the one I took today--out Bellamy Brothers Blvd. to St. Joe(around 70 round trip)--prettiest scenery in Florida.

The Black Hills the area that I live, but for ridin', 44 to 385 and then Deadwood, then maybe over to Sturgis via the link or Van Nocker, or south to Hii City, Custer, Keystone.

You get the idea if you've been out here for the rally, easy to go riding all day if you want or chop off one of the places that you normally do..

I guess that what makes this area and the Sturgis rally so popular.
Pappy Hoyle had a great idea and it still is, just a little over commercialized..

Default NOt enough

wife and i average about 15,000 miles a year and we live in the Iowa, so we have a limited season. We got Firstgear heated clothing and that helps the year get going sooner and last longer. Am probably going to pull the trigger and get a Kendron trailer so I can go south and ride in the winter.

Outstanding ride from Dubuque ia to Red wing Mn along the mississippi. can make the ride along the Mn side or the Wisc side, either is great, I prefer Mn side.
go to black hills at least twice year. We like to stay in Sturgis cuz it's more centrally located to BH, Wy and Mont.

We do one big trip a year; 3-4 weeks long and cover 4500 - 6000 miles each trip. 27 states covered so far; looking to do all 50.

I am on two wheels as often as possible. Don't ride to/from work. Do about 20k annually.
