When I ride it usually for at least 150 to 200 miles sometimes more and that's usually 2 or 3 times a week especially when I'm here in Florida. If I can I try to get out for at least a small ride every day. My wife and I usually do one long trip of 10 days to 2 weeks every year I think this year we'll be writing from our home just north of Toronto to Lake Louise in Alberta and then down to Sturgis and from there either to our home in Florida or back to Toronto.

About 70 miles M-F round trip to work. The only time I don't ride to work is in the rain, high wind advisory, or if I'm sick. I'll get a short ride in once in a while (100-200 miles) on the weekend but family and home comes first. Unfortunately I can't take my wife and 2 year old on a ride with me.

My wife and I ride every Saturday it's not raining hard. Ride a tour bike for those times we get to ride the long distance. Did an East Coast tour this year.

80 miles M-F to and from work.

Once a year back to Ohio from NC to visit friends who couldn't escape () and I'll go the "long way" through Pa visiting relatives along the way.

Longest ride: 985 miles from Daytona to Akron, Ohio, back when I lived there 12 years ago, in 17 hours. (Too old for that stuff now, I'm sure!)

You couldnt have squeezed out 15 more?!?!

I just picked up the SG less than a month ago. I try and get out as much as possible, mostly on the weekends though. When I do ride it's at least a 100 mile trip. Got a 3,000 mile trip planned for august next year.

Every long weekend this year except New Years Day we have gone on a bike trip. Easter we went to Houma LA, Memorial Day we took some vacation and made a trip to the East coast. Fourth of July it was up to Ill and Indiana. Labor day we went to Nashville. Thanksgiving we rode to San Antonio.

Single day weekend runs are routinely 200 to 400 miles. About 25K for the last year.

No kids, no pets, ride to work most days from april-nov but it's less than 10 miles. On the weekends we ride approx 200 each day when we stay at home, longer if we go overnite somewhere. The annual Sturgis ride is usually 3200 miles there and back including the rides while there. We normally go somewhere in Sept that puts another 1500/2000 miles on the bikes. This year the wife put 8500 on her new deluxe, I managed to get 14000 on my SG cause I get more vacation time than she does.

I'm usually out on the weekends and will do 200-300 miles in a day down through Southern Missouri and into Arkansas. I'm planning a cross country for next year, but still trying to decide on a route, probably Missouri to Kentucy and Tennessee, then loop down through the Gulf States. And, I'm thinking about an iron butt that should be about 1000 miles, probably do that on a Holiday weekend if the weather is decent.

I commute to work at least one day a week, 52 weeks a year (more when the weather's good). Typical weekend ride is 300-400 miles a day. I do one monster 10-day trip per year (usually around 5,000-6,000 miles), and a handful of 3-4 day weekends (usually between 1,400-2,000 miles).

Next June I'll be going coast-to-coast on Rt. 50, going south in California to Rt. 66, then taking that back east to Chicago, where I'll dead-head it back to Maryland on the highway.

Most of my riding is on trips. I ride locally some but I enjoy hitting the road with my wife and/or a group of friends much more than a short hop. I've taken the trip from NW Louisiana to Destin, Florida (1,100 + mile round trip) several times. Been to Key West (2,800 mile round trip) several times. My wife rode her Street Bob to KW last year when we went for Fantasy Fest. Went to the Smoky Mountains, up the Blue Ridge Parkway, back down to Key West, then home in '09. (over 4,000 miles) In late September I trailered the Road King from Pennsylvania where I am temporarily living to home in LA (because I needed to do some repairs and maintenance) then took off to central Missouri with some friends. We rode around central and south Missouri for a day, rode to Heavener, OK the following day, then hit the Talimena Trail on our way back home the next. 1,400 miles in 4 days. Short rides are OK but pale in comparison to getting away for days or weeks at a time.
