Most of the time when people type RKC they mean the Classic model, not thinking (or not caring) that it could also refer to the Custom. Usually it doesn't matter. When it does matter I refer to mine as Road King Custom or FLHRSI but usually I just call it a Road King. I've added passing lamps and a windshield to mine along with changing to hard bags, removing the "duck bill" and putting a tach in it's place. I also replaced that horrible seat with a Corbin dual tour and added a number of aftermarket pieces.

I have a FLHRC. Love the classic look but I did order a set of matched FLHR hard bags. Both Road Kings offered the same Vivid Black w/ Med Silver pin stripes. With or without pins would work. If I ever get another ride it will be a RK and quite possibly the FLHR just to change it up. Different style options other than nostalgic/ classic IMO...... but for now ..... Love the WWW & Spokes !!

Wife has a 07 RKC. I have a 09 RKC, and a 95 RK. Wouldn't even consider anything else.

Hard bags are an easy option. You use the same mounting hardware. A little adjustment of the brackets may be needed but that's about it.

Not that easy for me. I think I want stretched bags and fender, it's not going to be cheap

I would actually want a combo of the two. Hard bags but with the spoked wheels and whitewalls. I think that would be a great look.

+1
Since I swapped mine out I haven't put the leathers back on. I think about it just to see with the new muffs and all but not as of yet. The plan was to use the leather bags with passenger in case she scuffs...but she's real good at mounting etc.
