anyone done the Recall download after they aleady downloaded a map from a SERT. I have an '07 UC that I loaded map # 159PZ003-AO.MT6 from the SERT. runs great, but do think it is still lean on the rear cylinder. Interested if anyone has done this SERT download then taken the bike into for the recall download, and how the bike ran afterwards.

HD says that any bike that has been race tuned is not to get the "Upgraded" ECM flashes....

Race tuned ECM.....

Yes, you can do it, but you will end up paying the bill for it.....

You have a SERT, why don't you get the bike tuned right, vice installing a canned map and still having reservations about the quality of the map....

Tune it....

I took my stock 07 Ultra in for the recall download. I have since ordered mufflers, SE A/C and SERT and will be doing the download #159PZ003-AO as soon as the SERT comes in.

 

I have an 07 Ultra. I took it in before I added the SERT, AC and Mufflers for the recall download (torque smoothing). It did seem to run better than stock. Then I added the SERT, SE A/C with K&N HD0800 filter and SE performance mufflers (pre 2006 SE mufflers). I have now downloaded the map # 159PZ003-AO.MT6 as you did. The bike runs great now. I may have it dyno'd down the road but I will wait and see if I want to make any other changes. It runs so good now that I am in no hurry to dyno it.

 

I asked the same question to the dealer as I am looking at a 2007 RG as I am not familier with what the SERT programs vs maybe a complete download. He said the SERT would override the new download. As stated earlier I would assume you would want to dyno the bike to get the most out of the SERT and as I stated in my earlier post about the RG, the parts managers UC ran much cooler and he got allot more HP and TQ after the SERT and DYNO.
How much did you pay for the SERT, AC, and pipes?
Note: I was told the stock 2007 pipes flow about the same as the SE pipes so changing the pipes is not as critical as it was for <2007, is that the case?

 

dealer had a sale, 25% off list price on everything, including special orders. normally can buy the SERT, V&H Ovals and AN BS for a lot cheaper elsewhere, but this particular time the dealer out did everyone.
