I was talkin about how you posted about your 2010 in a Pre-2003 model thread.
I still Qualify with 100 every time at the range. Hand gun every time. Shotgun(100) and Rifle(96) the last time.

1998 Road King Classic Aniversary. 44,000 miles. Running strong. I just dropped her off at Harley for storage and to have them look at an oil leak. I have strongly been considering a 2011 or 2012 Streetglide.

99,400 miles as of yesterday. Should hit 100,000 week after next.

Bought new to me 8/1/07 wit 23,900 miles. Previous owner had the stator replaced just before I bought it. Lost the stators again at 32,000 and 52,000 and now run a CompuFire 3 phase system with no more problems.

Hung a rear exhaust valve at 67,000 miles, a day after my trip back form Myrtle Beach , and I also noticed the small crack in the Y pipe. Bought some good take off heads at the local Dealer and a White Bros "E"" pipe from EBay.

Replaced the tensioners at 81,000 miles with Andrews 26G / SS gear drive with new Black Ops lifters.

Just last week replaced front motor mount, ( Stabo,) and both rear swingarm biscuits and the front and rear wheel bearings just because I was approaching 100,000 miles, and that seemed like a good idea.

It still uses no oil between 5,000 mile services.

This past Thanksgiving morning I put a Supertrapp header with the "E" pipe muffler because the "E" pipe header cracked (big time!) and that's what I had laying around the garage.(!)

Now everything runs like new and I'm looking forward to the next 100,000...

Thumbs up

99 Road King Classic... EFI (MM)

Bought the bike in June of '10 with 28.2k on it. Except for chrome, the bike was stock except for A/C, SE pipes, and stage 1 download.

After becoming aware of the tensioners, decided to take a look last February. (42k miles) Decided to go gear drive... snowballed from there.

The tensioners were in fact worn excessively, glad I looked.

Ended up pulling heads and cylinders and shipping them to Automotive Machine Supply in Ft. Worth. Cylinders bored to 96"s, heads flowed, and converted to gear drive with Andrews 26s. Installed a PCIII and Rhinhart slip-ons as well.

Had a suburban Atlanta tuner "take me" last April. He kept the bike an entire month! Turns out he's full of chit, and a proven liar... said he'd done things that I know for a fact that where not! (Got "before" pics for proof) The bike runs good, some would say very good... but it isn't right. Could be much better. I ain't whinnin', and won't go into details, but it will get tuned right in the near future. That cat won't ever touch my bike again.

Has not kept me from ridding the bike tho. From Atlanta to east Texas has been the furthest thus far (one day.) Been all over the southeast, and will continue to do so.

Had considered selling for upgrade money on a post '09 roadglide. I'm thinkin now that I'll never sell this bike, but I'll put a roady to the stable within the next year.

She's been good to me! Rolled 61k on my way back from a ralley in Ocala 'bout 3 weeks ago!
