I "HAD" an 02 FLHPI. She was a keeper! Danny Grey fairing, thought of trading for a new 07 FLHP when they came out with the 103 and 6 speed. Ended up doing stage two, S&S quick set up, A/c and SPO mufflers, Andrews 21G cam, big valve heads PC III. S&S 6 speed cassette. Custom paint. Was gonna ride it to my grave.

THEN, bought the missus a new 09FLHTP, she could handle it, BUT was not comfortable with it. Changed out the Police seat to a RK seat and she loved it! More than I did, I guess. It is hers now, I got stuck with the 09FLHTP.!?!~

02 has 42k on it, moter built in 06 @ 28k, only problems were stator going bad.

Got to remember 02's had the GOOD lower end!

Would not have let the 02 go anywhere, but to make momma happy, AND I can borrow it anytime, it's setting inches from my FLHTP right now.

Photo of the pair, tourpak has moved from the RK to the E-Glide, both of them now running Mustang Solo seats.

Fuel Motos stage one installed on the E-Glide, swapped the Jackpots for the S&S SPO's from the RK. I'm happy with the swap and so is SHE!

E-Glide will get some paint, when I decide on the right color.

'02 RK flhpi I just bought with just over 80K. It runs great and has been pretty well maintained. I found a small exhaust leak where the slip on Pythons mounted on the right side. While there I decided it would be a good idea to check the cam chest and see what if anything had been done in there. PO said tensioners had been changed at about 50k but wasnt sure if an update had been done. When I opened it up there were a few small pieces of tensioner plastic laying around in there, outside was pretty good but inside was starting to come apart. When i pulled the cam plate i found front cam inside bearing surface worn beyond being a keeper. So decided to go all the way, 510g's, new hi output oil pump, ect. Looking forward many enjoyable rides.

Nice bikes everyone!!

In the next few years,I plan to look for a 2000-2005 FLHT with a carb, and most important to me,THROTTLE CABLES.

I`ve seen a few for sale, but the timing isnt right for me at the moment.
