Fogging Face Shield

+4 on the Pinlock riding year around in the Seattle area. We can have face shield fogging conditions any time of the year. I have installed Pinlocks in all my modular and full face helmets. I ride with them installed year around. They usually last a couple of years before needing to be replaced. They are worth it to me because I would have to constantly re-apply any of the liquid solutions assuming they work at all. I've tried them all and none of them work anywhere near as well as the Pinlock. With the Pinlock I just put the helmet on and ride regardless of the weather.
I haven't tried Fog City anti-fog inserts but I have seen good reports about them as well.

I use a little air flow, works for me every time. It's not one of those old bubble headed skin diving suits and you're not going to drown, find a way to let a little air in and you won't have any fog. By the time I need a full face helmet there is snow everywhere so I use my full face helmet mostly on my snowmobile, I had to take out a little of that hard foam in the chin area to let the air flow better, no more problems even if it is 30 below zero. Never found a chemical that worked very well, air flow is your friend.
