If you can just get around to some different meets and rides or rallys you will be able to hear many different exhausts. To each their own. As stated by another post in order to let the motor "breathe" better you need to go to an airfilter which will let the motor do so. I went to a Scremin' eagle high flow air filter element which let me stay with the factory football style air intake. A Power Commander V along with V&H power duals and V&H monster ovals. The combination works well for me, and the exhaust does not get overwhelming by the end of a long day. V&H is also compliant with the current push for noise compliance. All this was done with blessings of the technicians at my dealership of choice. What ever your choice may be, do yourself the favor of having the bike tuned by a FULLY knowledgeable tech.
