Default flat black dressers

Any pics of flat black bikes? What year did HD start offering this color on dressers? Thanks.

I believe it was even earlier than that. They may have started offering it in about '07. I know they had several denim colors that started at about that time, silver, blue, burgundy, white maybe and I believe black.

I think you're right. I know a buddy has a maroon 07 that's denim aka flat. I think blacks first year was 2008 though.

When I bought my 09 FLHT I wasn't sure I would like the black denim. However, within a week or two I loved it. Lots of dust here in Arizona and you can't keep gloss black looking good. You wash it and a few hours later it looks dirty. The denim doesn't show dust and looks good unless it is really covered with road grime after a rain or has mud splashed on it. Turned out to be a great "color" as I hate washing bikes.

You're pro'ly right. I know those were not quite as popular when they first came out. It took a little while for those colors to gain popularity. I personally didn't care for any of those denims, except for the black.

I'm looking at repainting my RG a satin black after all the mods are done. The denim colors are nice. It gives a nice retro feel.
