I get compliments on my FF all the time. But that is because it has pigtails on it plus Rhinestones.
I ride a lot and have had a ff since second week. My bike isn't a fashion accessory and neither is my helmet ( the fake pigtails are)
When I want a fashion accessory I buy a new purse.
Ff is because I am vain enough to want to protect my face not just my head.
I find it weird when people only wear a certain helmet to fit thier bike. That would be like I wear a seat belt in my yaris but not my hubby's jeep since seatbelt don't go with a jeep.
Wear what you want if that is a FF great if it is a beanie great.

Look at Ron750s diagram and notice the percentages in the facial area. I wear a FF because I've seen first hand how they can help, I could care less if I'm riding a Harley or a Honda, though if for a Honda I'd be trying to hide, lol. Seriously, when it comes to being safe or being cool, I'll pick safe.
i ride a 2012 Ultra, parl white. never once had anyone say anything about the FF... its always the bike.
im not riding to impress people. i dont care what anyone thinks about the lid. im riding for me and i try to be as safe as i can...
