Default PC-V vs. Power Vision

I'm trying to decide on a tuner. The PC-V is $299.00 the Power Vision is $499.00. I'm not real concerned with the price difference but I'm wondering which is the better way to go and why.
It's my understanding that the PC-V eliminates the o2 sensors,. Why or why not is that a good thing?
I'm probably only going to do stage one. Possibly cams later down the road. Nothing else. Reliability while out on road trips is a major concern.
Any advise?

Go with PCV and when you upgrade cams later get an auto- tune. The units operate differently, check out the power commander site and read the differences. Power Vision flashes your ecm, Power commander works piggy back down line of ecm. Buy from Fuel Moto with map ready to plug and play. Good luck.

I am running a PCV Retro Fitted for a 2008 Ultra, got it from FUEL MOTO. Made a huge differents in the bikes performace plus the guys from FUEL MOTO are great. I learned about them from this fourm and they are a really good company that will do what they say they will. I gave them my set up and they mapped it, I install it the unit in about 30 mins and love it...

pcv is a pigyback unit, some believe this is a bad thing,i think its a good thing if u have any problems it can be unplugged in less than 5 minutes,it comes preprogrammed for your aplication from fuelmoto.plugg and play easy.if u ever decat or use headpipes from different year bikes no worries about o2 sensors cause there not used with pcv.i am not well versed on the pv.

On my RGU the Power Vision can flash the original OEM programming faster than I could remove the saddle to pull off a PC-V. I bought a Power Vision from Fuel Moto and get the same support and ease of use. Some people mount the Power Vision on the bike so it can always be monitored. They can reprogram the ECM in about 1 minute.

One real difference between the two is that most people disable the stock O2 sensors when using the PC-V. If they don't then the stock ECM is still in control in the closed loop area, typically below 4000 RPM. In order for the PC-V to maintain closed loop fuel ratio control an Auto Tune module must be purchased. The Power Vision just reprograms the ECM and the function of the stock O2 sensors is maintained.

I live at near sea level but routinely ride in the mountains. I prefer having the O2 sensors functional. But that is just my preference. Others will certainly have different opinions.

really like my PCV with Auto Tune they both have their pros and cons so you can't go wrong but your doing the right thing get yourself vetted on which one you want and how much your willing to mess with it.
