Default 103 upgrade lunge !!!

just went out in the garage to and start up my new bike....it has a whopping 75 miles on it now.....long story but i traded in my 2011 103 streetglide for a 2011 103 streetglide....and i went ahead and had installed a se pro 103 upgrade with the high compression 10.5 to 1 pistons and se259e cams......long story short.....i just wanted to hear the bike run with the new rineharts ( 4").....and it was in gear as i just normally pull in the clutch as i start it...but it lunged forward about a foot as it started.....damn near running into my mower.........never had this happen before with my stock glide before.......wondering if this is gonna be the norm from now on....if so guess im starting up in nuetral.....

It's just the clutch plates sticking a little bit, I always start in neutral anyway, but it's an old truck/equipment operator habit.

It may be clutch adjustment.

your 103 probably got a stiffer spring installed

But good practice is start in neutral, that way you have your left hand free if for any reason you want to wave at someone

well i've only got 75 miles on the new scoot...so haven't gotten over about 3xxx rpms.....but ima little nervous....i came from a stock 2011 103 with a stage one and 255 cams.....that bike pulled like a mule down low....loved it..........i haven't got to see what this one will do trying to get my break in miles. in......then i'll take it down and get a good tune job and dyno.........................the other part is im really having trouble finding anyone with this same set up to see what they think of it......i hear that it should pull hard all throught the rpm range since i added the high compression pistons and new springs.....not just top end..but like i say....its early for me to get into it.......hoping this holiday weekend i can get it out and get a couple hundred on it

I would assume you had the heads worked and lower end made bullet proof.
That combination should get you above the 100/100 mark.
