Default Are Touring seats interchangeable

Ive bought a 2012 flhr road king, did the heritage bar fix but the seat needs help. What touring seats are interchangeable on the roadking and ultras? My legs seem to be to close to the floorboards or maybe I am to far forward? I sat on my friends ultra unlimited and all fit gooooood. I just like the look of the roadking. The stock seat is ok as far as comfort and my feet are flat on the ground when I stop. The seat is to wide though and I thought about taking it to a up shop and having it thinned out some. If I can get this fixed, it will be perfect! This is my first new bike and I am having a time with the heel shifter, it is a pain to use it but it works good. It is awkward to use with my legs so bent up! Thanks for any help.

I've swapped seats between Road King 08, Roag Glide 09, and Street Glide 10. There is probably some year(s) that don't, but I believe the last few years they have.

try some floorboard extenders...should give you a little room and not expensive.

Electra Glide seats are too long to fit on Road Kings. Not sure if they fit on Road Glides or Street Glides....

I removed my heel shifter.it gives your left foot alot more room. The only diff between the seats on a road king, and the other EG rides that I know of is the nose of the RK seat is shorter.

As far as the heel shifter goes and you like it, I bought an extended shifter off of ebay it sits behind the floorboard and gives you the whole board to put your foot on. I like it.

Pretty sure your wrong about that. Same frame, same tank, same fender. They should all interchange.
