For the money the PBR300 and Power series speakers are the way to go. I had a hawg wired system and it didn't compare to the rockford.
Sounds like you need 2 more speakers to fill the other 2 channels of the amp !!

I am currently running 8 speakers:

4 PIONEER 6 X 9's
2 Boston Accoustic 6 3/4 components
2 Rockford Fosgate 5 1/4

All powered by 2 Alpine 4.150 amps. 1200 watts of power

But,..........seriously thinking about adding 2 speakers to the lower fairings.

But then I'd need 2 more channels to power them, unless I parallel them with the 5 1/4's..........

What to do, what to do .................................

Parallel them. There not subs so there shouldn't be a problem with overheating.

One question.. To wire the speakers and run the postive to the battery, ground to the chassis, remote to a 12v key switch(if there is a remote) is self explanitory. My question is, is there RCA's to plug in to the HK radio or sumn else that sends the sound signal? Thanks!

Yep, power to battery. Ground to chassis. No rca's on the HK. No remote wire needed with this amp. I believe I read it senses power to the inputs from the HK and turns the amp on. As for no RCA's I just cut the wires between the speakers and the HK. Then wire the wires from the HK to the inputs on the amp and the wires from the speakers to the output from the amp. Clear as mud? I just finished this upgrade to my 2011 FLTRX but I used 4 6.5" Polk speakers. I friggen rocks!

I just installed a Rockford 4 ch. amp at the end of this summer. I'm running a pair of Hertz Titan 6.5 in the fairing and they are 3 Ohms and a set of 6x9 Polk Audio 4 Ohms in the saddlebag lids. No problems so far and sounds great, I feel it's a better bang for your dollar than the ARC 125.2 amp which I also ran before.

Same setup I have except for 2 power speakers in the lowers instead of the bags. Thing sounds freaking amazing

Default Where are the best Prices?

I am ready to buy after much research, reading here and there. I am going for the Rockford Fos PBR 300 and the 6.5 Hertz speakers. The only thing I don't know is where the best price is gonna be. I know I need a amp install kit and speaker adapters. Relocate Mr CB and I'm off. Any ideas?
