I am in the process of putting in this same amp right now. I am using it to power 4 JL Audio C5-650 speakers. My bike is getting raked right now so im a couple days away from getting it all powered up but after tonight, its mostly all wired. Here is a quick pic....not trying to hijack.....just want to say that it seems like alot of bang for the buck out of an amp. Small, powerful, etc

With all the pre-hype, and pushed back release dates,.........it seemed as if everyone was in for a let down. Glad to see that the guys that went this route are satisfied.

Stereo companies don't realize that the 'bagger nation' is a viable, marketable commodity !!

Good luck to everyone on their installs !

I think they are starting to realize! At SEMA this year, ARC Audio had 3 bikes in their booth, Kicker had two, and there were several other baggers in various spots around the show. They are starting to see the need for high quality motorcycle products.

Been reading about this amp a little. Does anybody know if the 2010 HK head unit is designed for 4 Ohm or 2.7 Ohm speakers. I was thinking my stock speakers were 2.7 ohm, may be mistaking there. Would it matter about the HK unit as long as the speakers being powered by the amp were 4 ohm? Or would the head unit need to be 4 ohm also? In other words,,, if the stock HK unit is a 2.7 ohm unit, will it overwork the HK unit plugging it into a amp that is rated for 4 ohm? Or could doing that possibly damage the amp?

Dont think it matters about the head unit, just the speakers that are being powered by the amp need to be 4 ohm

I have installed two of the pbr 300x4 on my 09 Road Glide. Using the amps to push 4 Rockford Power series 6.5's and a set of Rockford Power series 6x9's in a set of cycle sound lids. this combination is unbelievable!

For the money the PBR300 and Power series speakers are the way to go. I had a hawg wired system and it didn't compare to the rockford.
