Just got my Arnott air ride in the mail today indy shop wants $210 to install it. Thinking of saving the money and doing it myself. I have a lift and the tools just wondering how the install went if anyone else has done it.
That is very reasonable price for a shop to do it, assuming they know what they are doing. It is not too hard. I have done two bikes now. I swapped out the .25" poly line for stainless paintball line.
do it yourself. also, if ou swap to SS line, try to get coated stainless. SS lines act like a steel wool pad on anythin gthey touch.
My tiny SS wire cover rubber the finish right off the frame under the fairing.
If you throw the bend on the line, and then heat up the heat shrink on it, it holds the shape you intend, very clean and nice, like the SS line was made to go where you put it.

good idea dude. i think i would double wrap it (HA) just to be sure, but thanks for the tip (HA again)
Do it yourself for sure I did mine all good advice you got so far also just do one shock at a time don't take both off at the same time. You can spend a few hours and have it all done and the way you want it. I also changed all of my fitting from the fittings Arnott provided to push to lock fittings. Got them all from a pneumatic online store for robotics.
