you should go to a bike night, dealer BBQ kind of thing where you can hear other set ups and choose what appeals most to you.

sound is very subjective and what works for one rider may not work for another

If your looking to upgrade call Frank at Drago's bike works 815-765-1790

His products are coated inside and out, interchangeable baffles, different size mufflers 3"-4" and are a much better product than the VH comparable if not better than the D&D products at a much cheaper price.
He has 2 headers and I think I heard a true dual set up now. He has a ghost pipe for the header if you go with the header and don't like the single pipe look.

Another one to consider if you like loud is a Thunderheader. I've ran them for at least 15 yrs on my EVO. Nice and loud when you want them to be, but reasonable when needed, around the law. They are kind of a love em or hate em pipe, I've always loved them. I've never heard Dragos pipes but I know he is great to do business with.

That's what I did. As soon as I heard D&D, I was sold!

4" Rineharts were not loud and low enough. Put on the CFRs. Wow. Just wow.
