For loud and deep low I've not heard anything compare to CFRs.
Good advice above is go to a 'bike nite' and listen and talk to others before jumping in.
Otherwise you may become a pipe "ho".... or junkie as many of us are.
's all good....

and....ya need to think about the "ringing in the ears" after the ride if too loud. A friend of mine developed "Tinnitus" (look it up) after too much loud noises, it lasts a lifetime, cannot be cured, and is not the least bit pleasant.
Think about it before you buy too loud.
Ride Safe.

Here's a vid of a 103, cat removed, open A/C, PCV and Rush slip-ons with baffles and without baffles.

Also has Thunder Torques installed which give a good increase in torque and adjustability in sound tone and volume.

Ear Plugs are you friend. They cut down the wind noise which is just as bad for your hearing as are loud pipes. I always wear them. I have to as I have Tinnitus and the wind noise makes it worse.

I have python slip on mufflers (the scallop tip 3 1/2") with their true dual headers and I would say it is loud! But when I drop it in 6th it sounds good and isn't bothersome for long trips.
I have a 103 with a se air cleaner and super tuner.

I agree with the previous posts on listen to other bikes and find the sound you like. There are many loud pipes, but they all seem to have a different tone. I like my TD bubs.

+1

Friend had the pro pipe 2 to 1 on his Fat Boy. I did not like being the next in line when he was leading. He was always repacking the core to try to quiet the crackling down.

He went Fuel Moto on his glide and it sounds good but I cannot hear him over my Python True Dual set up.

I'm Kinda partial to Rineharts TD system. The stepped header design really improves performance over some other TD sysenms. I've tried a few! The 3.5 Rineharts have a very distinct sound when twistin the wrist and very mellow at cruising speed.
