Anyone using one of these Heindl lifts?? Like it?

Looks pretty good, but it's only rated @1000 pounds. I'd venture to say that you are at the top end of scale with your touring bike or any touring bike @850 and change, wouldn't you?

It's pretty pricey$ too @ $139 + shipping..
I think that you can buy the same type of thing on ebay for $50..
Guys years ago used to hand make em' for 20-30 bux with channel iron.

I think this would be steadier and the price is half:



I use it to hold the bike up for oil changes, raise front or back for tire removal etc.

with that style lift, you need someone to steady the bike when it is being moved--- and if the bike it 1/2 up and you loose you footing, it can fall...

the $60 sams club/harbor freight/ Larin cheapo lift works just fine, and is more flexible
