Default Cig lighter options

Does anyone know if there is a weather-tight plug I can put in my cig lighter recepticle? (2006 SG) Lost the lighter blowing down the highway yesterday. I don't smoke so I don't want to replace the whole shooting match...Just plug the outlet off.

HD makes one. Check your local dealer. Think it's around 5 bucks.

WHOA fellas, get this part here for ONE WHOLE DOLLAR! It's literally the cheapest thing you can put on your bike that actually does something.

Call your parts guy, he should know what you're talking about. Tell him its the rubber cover for the cig lighter plug. i cant find the part #

I don't smoke, nor do I use the cigarette lighter element that comes with the Ultra. I do use the socket though once in a while. In order to do this if I'm on the road, I have to put the lighter element somewhere on the bike whilst I use the socket. So I decided to buy 91844-97 which was the $1 socket cover that comes in the HD 12v supplemental power outlet kit. I installed in on my cigarette lighter and don't have to worry about putting the element somewhere. Now I can just pop up the cover and plug in whatever it is I'm plugging in. I wish the folding tab on the cover was a little shorter as it is crunched up while closed, but it's doable. You would think the MOCO would put these $1 jobs on all the tourers and make the 5% of the people that actually probably use the lighter element purchase it as a $15 accessory!
