Default Power Vision

my power vision trip meter odometer doesn't mesh with the odometer on my bike. It's a mile short of the bikes odometer.

Is there a way to calibrate the vision.

The trip differance isn't that bad but I'm worried the rpm's could be off also.

any idea's ?

Does the Vision have the ability to calibrate the speedometer? I would guess the problem lies there.

I love this thing............

Looks nice on my bike. You can monitor more things live from your ecm than you can think of.

Very user friendly. And being able to flash 6 differant tunes is awsome. I have one for milage, street performance and one for my squeeze.

Money VERY well spent. My .02 $

good point. It did take 144 miles to get that distance. I'm more concerned with any potential descrepancies in rpm's

My sentiments exactly. My money says its the speedo needs recalibrated. I highly doubt the rpms are off.

I don't know much about this device but I am getting ready to push the button on one.

If you are only 1 mile out after 144 I would be impressed

If I am understanding your question correctly, given the "error" between your bike trip and tuner you have concerns about rpm.

Again, speculating, but I suspect that rpm will be more accurate as it will be measured directly. Speed and distance are then calculated from that (taking in to account gear etc) so any time you introduce calculations in to a system like that you are bound to introduce errors - even if only due to rounding of the raw data. I may be completely wrong of course.

Also, even if you have a less than 1% error, these are engines that are being tuned so I doubt they are going to be so sensitive as to have that error make a difference.

Would love to hear more about this device as it looks awesome
