It's 57 degrees here in PA today, and I just got called in to work. damnit. I'd be out riding otherwise.

Besides - what's winter/holiday's without snow.

To each his own for sure. I grew up in WI and I miss many things about it--but the weather isn't one of those things. Anyway, I'm not sure why people think it has to be cold and snowy for Christmas. Afterall, the average December high in the city of the first Christmas is 57 (http://www.weather.com/weather/wxcli...graph/ISXX0010). I'd rather go for a ride and then walk around in a t-shirt.

I did a bike trip to north west Arkansas in mid June of 2010. The average temp when I was there was 95 with high humidity. We spent most of each afternoon sitting in the air conditioned room rather than riding. We may have cold weather in the winter but at least we can be outside in the summer. It's nice to have choices.

We just got our first snow storm here, about 7-9 inches I reckon. Run the snow blower and shovel about 2 hours yesterday, and my garage faces the north too..
