Default Future Street Glide Performance Parts

Hello, I will be getting a new 2012 Street Glide in a month or 2 and I am trying to do all as much research as possible on the performance parts I want to get. Here is what I am considering.

Intake: K&N Stage 1 or the Performance Machine Air Charger Kit.

Programmer: Power Commander V

Exhaust: I just installed a the Fuel Moto 2-1-2 head pipe and jackpot mufflers on my dad's 2011 Ultra. He is very pleased with that setup. I currently have a Thunderheader on my Dyna WG and I like it. I was reading through some posts and saw Dragos Bike Works. They guarantee their 2-1 system will make more power and torque than any other exhaust system. I don't really care for the 1 pipe on a touring bike but may be able to get over it to make a decent amount of more power than a 2-1-2 system. Anyone have some experience with Dragos?

I appreciate your input. Thanks

Get a different tuner. Like a TTS.
Definitely do the 2-1 pipe and get a TW 5-6, or Andrews 37 cams. I think you will love how it runs then.

A PCV is the only tuner I have ever run. I've had one in all three of my bikes not that I have to have it.

I am definately open to suggestions.

Is there any tuner out there that tunes on the fly?

The Dragos is a nice pipe. Something to consider (long term) is if you ever plan on stretching the bags or fender. Thunderheaders just don't look too good if you do, at least in my opinion. Fuel Moto makes nice stuff as well. Both (FM and Dragos) are great to work with. You can get a ghost for the Dragos pipe if you like the look of two mufflers.

intake: the ness big sucker is a tidy install, mine was $115 shipped on ebay from easternpc--- that's the chrome version

tuning- I use nightrider.com XIEDS on my 09. $125 shipped

pipes- that's your choice, if you have found a product you like, that worth more than alot of opinions--- my 2¢ is supertrapp supermegs or screaming eagle nightsticks ( very similar) and a no-cat header either aftermarket or the budget solution, gutting yours.

enjoy the new bike!

Personal preference prevails here but I just can't take a liking to a bagger with one pipe.
Maybe you planned to get a ghost pipe too but the single pipe bagger doesn't do it for me.

I feel the same way.

I think I will stick with Fuel Moto. I have had great experience with them.

Fuel Moto 2-1-2 head pipe with the new 4.5 jackpots sounds like a good combo.

Go with a TTS for tuning. Drago's is the exhaust I would run. For the motor I would do a 113 after I sent the crank to Falicon or Darkhorse first.

Drago kicks ***.. No better person, period..
Listen to him..
He loves talking bikes and will always talk to you about what you want to do..
He's helped me out where a couple other sponsors on this site could not.
They tried, but couldn't get er' done.
Frank did though..
That's why I picked the cams I got too.
He will not steer you wrong..
His prices are very good too..

I used to ru n true duals on my bagger for the same reason, baggers just should have 2 pipes. When I bumped up my motor I went with a 2into1. Even though they look good I couldn't bring myself to put the ghost pipe on the left, can't stand fake stuff on a bike. JMHO
