Default RCX-Haust Excalibur Slip On's?

I rented an Ultra Classic for two days and 500 miles in the Texas Hill Country. It was a 2011 model with the 96 cubic inch motor. I really liked the sound of the RCX-Haust Excalibur Slip On's but had never seen them before. I live in Massachusetts so maybe the dealers I see don't carry the product. Anyone have any experience with this product? Is it EPA legal out of the box or am I looking for a noise violation? Didn't seem too loud to me, just real throaty.

Google them. I've heard them on a bike at a dealership. Sound nice and decently priced. I might give them a try next year.

I've had them on my 2009 non-cat sg for a few 100 miles now and I'm Very happy with the sound and quality. I've gotten quite a few compliments on them. I had rinehart 4" before and these sound pretty much the same as they use a simar spiral louvered 2-1/4" baffle. IMO these are better quality than the RH. With a cat in the header they arent that loud at all. W/o the cat they are a bit louder, but I like 'em :-)

I have them and I love them, lots of looks and they sound pretty good too. I opted to go with the 3.5", I think it's a cleaner look.

They appear to be a very nice pipe. They were a finalist for my new exhaust. One of the biggest factors I didn't go with them was lack of reviews. Good to hear people are having positive things to say about them.

How do you determine whether to use 3.5 inch or 4.0 inch? Can you choose to not use any end piece?

3.5" vs 4" is a personal choice. I personally really like 4" pipes. Some think they look too big. Both will perform the same (same baffles in both versions), so it boils down to what you like. As far as the tips, you're not going to want to take them off. It'll look like a$$......
