Default Who has the Kuryakyn switchblade on Ultra?

I really like these highway pegs but was told I should go with the harley mounts (the part that attaches to the crash bar) because of the lowers....is this true and if not a few pics would be nice. I would prefer to go all kuryakyn if possible. Thanks!

I don't have lowers, but I do have Kuryakn highway mounts and pegs. I personally think Kuryakn has a better selection than HD, and I don't think that HD mounts are better than Kuryakn in any way-with or without lowers. The offset pegs that I have on my bikes can be used on bikes with lowers just fine as can some of their other models..

I have them on my classic, if it helps. I went through 2 sets of the mounting hardware from Harley, they kept cracking when I would tighten them down, so finally the stealer gave me a set of the Kuryakyn, mounts (the ones that go on the crash bars) the ones that have the 3 piece mounting and the 4 screws. They worked out good.
So don't go with the Harley crash bar mounts, go with the Kuryakyn ones. They mount up the same way.
Stealer said they have been having problems with their mount, I wasn't the first one with the cracking problem.

Not exactly sure which mounts your're talking about but if you are referring to the mounts that wrap back around the lowers on an Ultra I've had great luck with the Harley version. There isn't as much room on the '07 lower/engine guard installation as there used to be. If you look closely it appears the Kuryakyn and Harley sets are identical. My understanding is Kuryakyn makes these for Harley and charges $10.00 a set more for them. There's a concept.

I've got the switchblades on my Road Glide with lowers, fit great and gives me 3 ways to use them, used Kuryakyn mounts

I had the switchblades on my classic and loved them. I have a ultra now and hate all the mounts with lowers on. Nothing lines up nice like i had on the classic (short straight kuryakyn mounts). Ended up with the HD long angled mounts to clear the lowers, but too close to the pedals now.

I have the short angle mounts from Harley. Using the Kuryakyn pegs with stirrups. Not the switchblade pegs, but look just like them when the heel part is deployed. I weigh in excess of 300 lbs, and have been pretty brutal on these mounts with no problems. You know, I even used these mounts on 2 different bikes now! They are on an ultra now, and work perfectly. I have a 36" inseam so they might not work perfectly for everyone. They are very beefy mounts. BTW, the stirrups under the pegs are nice. They give you the feel of a floorboard with out the bulky look of one.

Be careful if your looking at using their Longhorn mounts with the switchblades. Their rep told me they are re-designing the Longhorns to work properly with the switchblades. Right now they will come loose when you put pressure on the heel rest part of the switchblades. All other mounts work ok as far as I know.
