Default Exhaust options for older model touring models

Does anyone make a decent 2-1-2 system for the older models such as the 05 electraglide. Don't really want to go 2-1 because I like the balanced look of two mufflers but I don't like the idea of spending money on a fake muffler for the left side.

I installed a s&s 2-1-2 with their quiet tour muffler. Good fit & finish. Good performance.

I dunno, but I am really depressed you are calling an 05 an 'older' model ! ! !

my 06 thinks she is still a spring chicken.

the stock touring header pipes are pretty good -- maybe you just need slip on mufflers-?

S&S power tune dual 2-1-2 head pipe and rinehart mufflers on my 07 (they will fit 05 as well)

Already have slip ons. Looking for a newer style 2-1-2 head pipe. One that gets atleast one of the pipes off the rear jug to cool it down a tad between my legs. I don't really want to go full duals for fear of loosing some low end torque but I don't want to go 2-1 either. Seems the 2-1-2 setup would be the answer.

The S&S setup looks ok but I was hoping to see a dogbone or X pipe type cross over setup.

I just picked a 2001 SG and I thought mine was older. Damn! They makes them for my bike. Any good quaility ones will be a little pricy

I have a SuperTrapp 2008 system on my 1990 Glide. It bolted straight on. Admittedly it is a 2-into-1, but these things are much more interchangeable than first appears and the catalogues would have us believe.

I been looking at these for my 2002 flht. Are there any other manufacturers that make 2-1-2 for pre '08 bikes. // Also are there any disadvantages in running something like this. For example the exhaust running beneath the transmission and becoming hot.
