Default How to measure shocks

I have a 2008 FLHC .it has 13" stock airshocks . i am short and wanted to try the 12" shocks like on the streetglide .i found a set on ebay listed as 12" touring shocks . very cheap i bought them on impuls . there shipped on there way here . i sent the seller a request for info . what model and year did they come off of . the lady responded back that they were off an 2007 elctra something . she was not sure . how would i MEASURE THEM to make sure there the 12" shocks and not the 13" is it eye to eye . and is it 12" off the bike or 12" after compressed by bikes weight ?

It's center to center of the eyes, weight off the bike. Lift your bike up and measure away.

off the bike, no air

if they don't work for you the 09+ version of the sg shocks is valved for a smoother ride
