This is on my xmas list but have a question for those that have the Gerbings. Is a dual controller enough to run gloves, pant and jacket liner? what about the socks is that too much for the controller to run all this stuff? Sorry didnt mean to hijack

Dual controller will run the jacket/vest and gloves. With the pants, you will have to decide if you want to put them on the same control as the jacket or the gloves. Socks, I really don't think you will need. Once you get almost all of your body warm...feet should be ok.

And there are other really simple inexpensive ways to help with feet if needed.

Gerbing makes the HD gear. The prices are pretty much the same. In general, Gerbing is a few dollars less than HD, but then most of us usually get sale and discount coupons from the Harley dealer.

There is another company that has basically the same products.

www.cozywinter.com

They are a few dollars cheaper on some things. There just isn't enough demand to create competition to drive down prices on these items. But, they are worth every penny if you want to ride in the winter.

Take a look at these guys as well. I have a full set (jacket liner, pants and gloves with a dual controller) and they work great.

Get th duel controller, heated vest and gloves, and you can ride all year (except when it snows). I have the gebings products and would not trade them for anything. They make cold weather riding much more comfortable.

Heated gear is the best investment you can make towards riding. There's no such thing as "too cold".

Be careful what you buy. Keep in mind anything made by Gerbing the internals are warranted for life. Yes Gerbing makes the HD garments. I had to send my HD gloves back to Gerbing, the left glove internals quit working. No questions asked, they could not repair them so they sent me a new pair (Gerbing). The gloves were 4 years old, and well used. HTH
