Took a 200 mile ride today, maybe I am imagining , but it is like day and night to me! So much better over washboard roads, NO bottoming out and better cornering feel...

Ditto on the shocks...NIGHT & DAY!!
BTW....sweet rims!!

I get a lot of compliments on those rims! Almost replaced them at DELMARVA this year, but decided to save my money! Thanks again!

LOOKIN GOOD THERE MIKE!!!

Not only do the factory lower fairings protect you from cold weather and mother
nature.
I really think that they complete the look of the Road Glide. Great fall project, just in time
for the winter riding season.

If you haven't already, I will let "Igor" know that he has some work to get done.

What can you say now Mike as far as comparing the two different sets of lowers between the Hogg Chopps and the HD ones?
Do you still think that the Hogg Chopps provide more air than do the vented HD's, or?
Installation looks to be a snap on the Chopps compared to the HD's? Less leg, or knee room?

Looking Good! I ordered the lowers when I got my bike, so I still have about a month or so to wait!

I was thinking of just running them in the winter, but I might just leave em on!

Seeing all these good looking RG's with em on makes me glad I bought em.

OK, here it is, my opinion only. My Hogg Chopps were great, good foot room, ahead of the crash bars made for extra room. As far as air flow, the HD lowers BLOCK more air to ME, not sure about the engine. Installation was about the same for both. I missed having the glove boxes and use them for storage. As far as the leg room, the HD lowers are easy to get used to. The Chopps covered most of the outside of the crash bar and once when I inadvertantly dropped the bike, they were damaged because they hit the ground, not the bar. The HD lowers will definitely not touch the ground in a slow speed drop as the crash bar is exposed. While I enjoyed the Chopps for several years, I really prefer the HD lowers. They look more like they belong on the bike, mine anyway.

Thanks Paul, tell Igor I'll call him when I return from vacation first of December, may do something entirely different on the lowers.
