Default plasma rod guys chime in

I have and installed the plasma rods they are wired as run and brake only. I guess on a street glide to get turn to work as well u have to tap into tri bar light. Anyone done this yet, and any tips? Thanks

I'm looking to add them to my 09 Street Glide as well. There is a good thread here...

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...asma-rods.html

I haven't read all of it but there should be some members there with the same bike you could ask. If I recall, the makers of the Plasma Rods also make some kind of optional wiring module for it as well. Not exactly sure what it does though. Hope this helps you find more info...

to use them as dedicated run turn brake you need to use a run turn brake controller.
then run the left side into your left turn signal wire pos and neg... right side into your right turn signal pos and neg

you may have to buy the optinal wiring to run them as run turn brake from custom dynamics, it basically turn the 2 wire into a 3 wire.. i think its the eclipse module or something

Kuryaykn has a new light bar that designed for the 110 and up Street glide that IMO looks much better than the plasma rods.
