I don't know if Gerbing T5s have a pocket in the gauntlet or not. Their online description doesn't say.
I just bought a set of G3's directly from gerbing and they are not discontinued the T5's are new but in addition to the G3's. the T5's are much more rugged. The older HD gloves that I bought in 2003 did not have a pocket. Oh and the G3's are microwire as well. very nice supple leather and very fast to heat up like almost instant heat.

Can you give a link to the G3s? At http://gerbing.com/Products/gloves.php they aren't showing. Is there another site?

I have the Gerbings dual controller and have found that if a rubber band is wrapped repeatedly around the stem, below the adjustment ****, it will create enough friction to keep the ***** at the desired settings.

Strange, I don't get a 3rd picture in the top row in either Firefox, IE, or Chrome But your link did work, thanks. Those look a bit less bulky than the HD ones I have or the T5s

The gloves plug into the sleeves of the jacket liner, and then I have one button to control the jacket, and one to control the gloves.
+1
I Picked up the same setup today.

I have the Gerbing G3s with the jacket liner. I must be the only person who thinks you do not need the thermostat. My gloves are quite warm but never get too hot as I have heard from some. Someone told me that the micro wire(which I have) does not get that high heat as the nano wire. Another friend was going to get the thermostat when we bought them but I suggested trying it without first. He agrees no need. Each to their own I guess, but you got to love the heat. Also I was wondering what is the difference between the G3-5 and T-5s?

Gloves are great, but as everyone has said, get the thermostat. I did after they burned a blister on one of my fingers.

read post #11 LOL. never used a thermostat since 2003 with no issues. prior to that I had some widder gloves that I bought in 1998 that I never used a thermostat either.
The T5'sare more rugged and water proof. The G3's are a lot more supple.
