Default Siren Antenna???

I installed the HD siren on my Roadking yesterday that has factory alarm, Whats the antenna for on the siren??? Thanks

I'm pretty sure that's for communications with the optional pager, which, by the way, can only be used if you have the Smart siren.

That's right, you have the Smart Siren so you can buy the pager that will flash , vibrate & beep if your alarm goes off.

The wire is indeed for the pagers. My wife uses mine to get my attention in buildings I cannot take my cell phone. She shakes the bike to get me to come out for lunch.

It would either be an enjoyable lunch with the wife or an aggrevating afternoon filing a police report!

The range is a lot further than you would expect it to be, works through walls and glass. I was even surprised when I felt it once in the hospital, given all the interference from all the other wireless devices and instruments. Turns out it was a friend messing around but it was a good test of it's range.

The range on mine is great. I can park on one side of the building, and stay seven floors up on the other side. It will still be in range.
