A few weeks ago, I came across an aftermarket SG inner fairing that could fit 6x9 speakers, a 6.5" LCD stereo and still utilize the stock gauges. I can not remember who makes it. Anyone know the company?

 

C'mon, somebody knows what I'm talking about!

 

This is new to me. Have you looked into the 6.5" speaker kit that you can use with your stock inner fairing. I have heard these speakers and they sound just as good as my 6x9" speakers I have in my dragonfly.
