Default Security System problem.

The bike won't detect either key fob. Put new batteries. No luck. I don't have the override code. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm at a loss.

Check your owners manual if you have it. That should tell you how to reset your code. Also theres a nice cell phone app out there called "v twin mobile reference" its a free app thats available for android phones, im sure for apple devises as well. That also will help you reset your code. Hope this helps you

Owners manual won't tell you how to override the code if you don't know original - that would render the security system useless!

Not sure why you don't know the code, were you not given it by the dealer? If not, contact them - they should know what it was. If that works - reset it immediately

Failing that, you are stuck and it needs to go back to dealer

once u get the code (or an expensive new code) theres a card in the back of the owners manuel it has a place to write the code and instructions on how to use it,it fits in your wallet like it was made for it.

Your fob has to be working to find out your security PIN #. It's hard to believe both fobs stop working at the same time unless you are close to some kind of radio signal interference.

Oftentimes the security codes are the last five digits of the bike's VIN number at least thats how the original dealer sets them up. Try that...see if that works.

If not the last 5 of your vin try 11111 or 12121. If you haven't set it up it will be one of those 3 most likely.
