Default Headlight Problem?

During a ride last week I noticed behind another car my headlight burnt out. I got home and checked my bulb and it was fine. Looked at my connecter and I believe it's the yellow wire side the connecter was burnt and melted slightly. I got a new connecter but do I have a bigger issue at hand? Or do I simply replace the connecter and I should be fine?

Sounds like you may have high resistance in the headlight circuit. I would check the negative (ground ) wire to make sure it is tight and not corroded. Also check your battery cables for tightness. Hope this helps, but without actually looking at the bike it's hard to diagnose.
