Nice write up. Ever thought of lifting the rearend of your RK? You would improve geometry and give alittle more ground clearance. I was going to do that to my RG but never got around to it. Adding some gold valves and better fork springs would improve frontend dive and give more ground clearance too.
I should have ordered the adjustable length ohlins from howard.
I have monotubes in the front and I think they are damn good value.
That's one of the most interesting threads I've read. Taking a Road King on a racetrack is amazing (amazingly crazy!), but it does show that its the rider more than the bike. BTW, I am a yankee, but lived in Oz for 4 years, took a Yamaha FJ1100 to track days at Phillip Island, and watched the last MotoGP at Easter Creek during the years I was there (late 90's). Cool man!!
