I used rick9662 on ebay. Cant complain. Quick service and so far no problems. I was less than $200 and it included cow bells.

It might even be cheaper to buy a set on lower legs on eBay for like $30 and take them to a local chromer or powdercoater. Then sell your old legs on eBay. Then there's no down time for your bike while things are getting chromed.

I have a spare set already, any of the plating shops i have talked to want about 200.00 then you have the wait time.So thats why i was looking for a place to swap them out.So if i can do a swap i won't have no down time.
If i didn't already have a set i would definately go the ebay route.

Default Michigan Chrome

I was thinking of the same thing this winter. Living in Michigan, I will have a lot of down time. I just purchased a new Road King Classic so I only have 500 miles on it. I would refer having mine chromed, no exchange. However, I would like to find someone in Michgan so I can see their shop and avoid shipping these parts. Any Help? I tried an internet search but companies advertising chroming in Michigan turn out to be out of state playing shell games.

Does anyone know if these exchange programs need new bushings and things put in before they are installed. I've been kicking this idea around for a while and just been wondering g if they need a rebuild before installed.
