I thought the 2009 touring Harley's didn't have a cat in the stock header pipes? While at the dealers yesterday getting the rear brake light switch replaced I had a conversation with the tech that usually works on my '09 Ultra Classic. I asked him after a Stage 1 what was the next performance upgrade. He said cams and get rid of the cat in the stock header pipes. What’s up with that? I’ve been thinking all of this time the ‘09’s did have the cat.
Hello there Shortride. My 09 definately does not have the cat in the head pipes.I checked when I installed the Monster Rounds in the spring, and when I installed the CVO slip-ons in early summer, and still no cat when I put on the 4" Rineharts in sept......lol.

I didn't think so. I didn't remember seeing any cat when I put my CVO mufflers on either now that you mentioned it.
