Question Big Sucker won't fit 103?

I was about to order an Arlen Ness Big Sucker kit for my 2012 UC with stock 103 until I read the following disclaimer on their web site:

Big Sucker kits will NOT fit HDŽ 103" engines.

Is this a true statement or is their site a bit out dated?

And yes, I've sent a note to Ness asking the same thing but haven't heard back yet.

I would assume its true, I think the stock 103's have slightly larger throttle bodies.

Isaw that as well, & sent them an e-mail as well with no responce. I can verfiy that there are several people running the Big Sucker on 2012 103 with no issues.

I just installed the AN Big Sucker Stage 1 on my 2011 FLHX 103 and it installed just fine. I really hope there is not an issue as I never asked if it fits the 103.

I took it to the dealer for the Stage 1 download and they said it all checked out just fine so we shall see.

I will call AN tomorrow to verify. If anyone else can confirm this it would be greatly appreciated.

the 96 and 103 share the throttle body introduced for 2008

The 103 is the same exterior dimension as the 96" ( same stroke, larger bore).

Be nice to know the details though, why Ness feels there may be a fit problem.

I called Ness and asked them about this issue...they explained the Big Sucker will fit the stock HD throttle body on the 103. The Big Sucker will NOT fit aftermarket bodies.

Seems they find it easier just saying they don't fit at all instead of dealing with installed returns from people installing them on non-HD bodies.
