Default RE: Chroming a Road Glide Wheel

I had my lowers chromed --bought a used set off eBay, sent them in and then had the put on and sold my unchromed set on eBay.

I think it's the way to go --it saves you cash.

Pretty unbelievable is I had them back in a weeks turnaround time. This is the place I use -- www.super-chrome.com -- call and ask for Robert, he's the owner. I even heard if you need it back sooner he'll do it for you. Give them a call, won't hurt to chat, and let us know.

Here's the finished outcome:

Had a bud of mine chrome his. Problem is (at least on the '01 models) you have to grind off the nubs on the wheel before the chromer would chrome the wheels. After that they came out really nice. Hope this helps. Noticed you posted months ago, you're probably done by now.

Tekman,

That really looks nice...very bright...how much heavier do you think the wheels are?

Yes, they grind off the nubs on the wheels, but it makes them look tons better, in my opinion. I have had a set on my road king since right after I bought the bike and wouldn't have anything else.
