Default Fkn passenger floor board fell off my new scoot!! 11-30-11 Update.

I just bought an 09 SE Ultra in the beginning of Oct. and was getting it out of the garage today for a short ride before work and it felt funny on the right side. Started bike up and was looking it over and noticed the whole damn passenger floorboard was gone!!!!!!! The only thing left was the bracket where it bolts to the bike. The bolt that holds it to the bracket broke off even with the bracket and gone it is!!!!!!!! It is a full matching set, driver and passenger. Called the dealer and am awaiting the reply.

Dealers make them break in order to get you to buy another set.

This was a problem with the early mounts up to 09. Mine did the same. Sheered off at the braket. Dearler replaced because it was a known problem. They said torqued to much at the factory. Replaced with new 2010 style with two bolts. No more problem.

I use it. I buy the big bottles. But this problem did not stem from my lack of attention to such an oversight. It was like this from factory.

yes, I have also heard of this.

I replaced mine with SG pegs as I usually ride solo.

so, mine are sitting in a box.

if the dealer can't help you out, contact me and we can work out a deal.

BUT ask the dealer and if he shuts you down, just go to another dealer and ask again.

when the dunlop 407 service bulletin cam out my local dealer wouldn't replace under warranty....the guys 20 miles away did- and earned my continuing business
